Marc Jacobs has always been a fan of a collaborative effort (as is Minx Nails...) and
with almost every designer (Alexander Wang, Giles Deacon, Jason Wu, Rodarte, Gareth Pugh, Sass+Bide etc, etc....) and nail company getting together for joint collections, it's no surprise to see these pop up.
Created in honour of New York's ever-burgeoning annual Fashion Night Out event back in September this year, these tasty treats were added
as a gift with purchase exclusively at Saks to give the
lucky customer a D.I.Y. taste of the Minx look, lasting 1-2 days max.
It's probable they also inadvertently gave customers an appreciation of the skill, expertise and
lasting quality involved in a professional application of Minx Nails...
The limited run of these designs (6 in total) were based on fabric prints from Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 collection.
Bravo.
